about

As 2021 draws to a close, Phonix Records decided to combine forces with legends and long-time collaborators, Killer Buds. After many sessions in the labs, testing, tuning and perfecting – the dynamic duo synthesized the latest in cutting edge sonic technology, the ‘Hacking Future’ EP!

This EP reflects Killer Buds’ vision of where evolution and technology may lead us as a species and the world as we know it. Starting with ‘Cyborgs’ – a fracture in the reality matrix, a total nervous system reboot, this groovy hi-tech beast thrashes and thrills. Moving from strength to strength, the move from Humans to Cyborgs is all but certain. As technology continues to grow and evolve so will the Cyborgs. Soon the forefront of conflicts will be the digital realm alone. A world where hackers will prevail, enter the title track – ‘Hacking Future’. A tightly crafted and boldly sculpted track that pushes the boundaries of what is acceptable. How much power should the hackers hold in this new world? Oozing with playful energy and a no non-sense attitude, this is bound to be a dancefloor treat! Beware, there is a monster on the loose!

Phonix Records and Killer Buds would like to thank their friends and family for their continued support. As we have done many times before and will do so many more times to come, trust in us – take us to your speakers! It’s time to embrace the Hacking Future!
