Catarsis is the collaborative project of Mario Funes (aka System Sequence/ LEOF) and Luis Cruz (X-Side/Ashtar Command) hailing from Mexico.

System Sequence / LEOF:
Mario Funes from Mexico is the mind behind System Sequence and L.E.O.F projects.
System Sequence is his high tech project focusing on lazer sharp night time full on sounds.
LEOF stands for Lysergic Experiments Over Frequency. With this project, Mario lets go of all inhibitions and writes sounds from deep down in his heart; focusing more on the groovy daytime psychedelic and intelligent full power driving psychedelic sounds.

X-Side / Ashtar Command:
X-SIDE is José Luis Cruz, born in 1987. His taste for strange frequencies and powerful beats comes from his contact and experiences with raves in his hometown Mexico City. After much time and long days of study - Luis began to explore his potential in different platforms of music production, until arriving at the suitable one. X-Side combines a different range of psychedelic influences - it is powerful, dynamic and even somewhat aggressive at times but it is still full of infectious energy that has become dance floor favorites.

This hard work has led him to participate in festivals all over the world and to the work with a number of other producers including some legends from the psytrance scene with whom he has had the opportunity to combine forces and ideas and collaborate with them.

Luis is also a part of Ashtar Command along side partner Jhesha. Psychedelic athmospheres,high trips and unbridled bliss are some of the results of listening the Ashtar’s Command experiment. Signed with Grasshopper Records (Japan), Ashtar Command promises to deliver a high quality psychedelic dancefloor experience, making for an unforgettable state of consciousness .

Menog:
Menog is Daniel Bernardo, a world renowned psychedelic trance artist from Coimbra, Portugal.
A musician almost since birth, his musical career began playing guitar then drums in his early 90s metal band.
His introduction and interest for electronic music started in 1995 with the techno scene in Portugal, in 1997 he attended his first Trance event, and after Boom Festival 1998 made a decision to create this type of music.
Four years later, in 2002, Dani released his first album "Natural Behaviour" under the name Menog on the label Starsounds Rec. from Greece.

Menog has released five albums, and has tracks on many compilations. His music appears on compilations from labels such as Nano,Nutek, 3Division, Shiva Space Tech, Phantasm , SpaceTribe Music, Digital Psionics, Acidance, Timecode, Nexus Media, Planet Ben, Fungi rec , Noize Conspiracy, Hadra, and Spectral Records of course!
Menog performs his music worldwide through his emotional and enthusiastic live appearances.

Emotions are what he wants to transmit to people when playing live, on stage.
His music is a story with a beginning, middle and ending.
His tracks are made with a single purpose... to make people DANCE!!
